Hi, welcome to my website! Thanks a bunch for swinging by and showing genuine curiosity about who I am and what TrendToFit is all about!
My name is Srishti Gupta and I have been writing on fitness & wellness since 2018. Through my relentless passion for the niche, I have managed to get my website recognition and enlisted as a top fitness blog on some highly reputable lists.
To be completely transparent, my blog was born from a deeply personal journey; a quest to document my transformation from healing to inspiring.
Back in 2014, I underwent a life-changing open-heart surgery and a minimally invasive surgery which was a profound wake-up call. However, I admit that I didn’t immediately embrace a healthier lifestyle, I went irregular in my diet routine and as a result, I faced a host of other health challenges.
As time passed, I understood the true importance of good health. This realization worked as a catalyst for me which ignited the desire within me to make a positive impact on others’ lives. And so, with this newfound purpose, I worked hard and launched this site in 2018.
Learning from My Disease: A Path to a Healthier Lifestyle
‘Prevention is better than cure every time.‘ This is an age-old saying. I never realized the value of these words earlier in my life.
As a result of certain reasons and my careless attitude towards my health, I didn’t pay much attention to post-surgery care. I adopted the mindset that since the surgeries were done and I felt fine, there was no need to follow a strict regimen of boring food and vitamin supplements.
I didn’t take iron pills on time, I didn’t take proper nutrition and used earphones all the time. All of these unhealthy habits led to immense weakness, disturbing the menstrual cycle, and the development of a new disease called ‘tinnitus’.
But when the realization struck me deeply after enduring the consequences of easily preventable lifestyle diseases, the value of good health became abundantly clear to me.
I reflected on how a little more consciousness about my well-being could have shielded me from these ailments. I also discovered the incredible power of adopting healthy lifestyle habits in keeping various diseases away and staying in top shape.
And that’s precisely why TrendToFit was born – to raise awareness among people in my country about the natural and scientific ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle and protect themselves from the pitfalls of being unfit and succumbing to preventable diseases.

Conquering Weight Loss: My Success Story
Allow me to share my personal journey & experience regarding the topic of weight loss!
After undergoing my second surgery at AIIMS India to cure an inborn heart disease, which included repairing an atrial septal defect (a hole in my heart) and pulmonary stenosis (shrinkage in my heart valve), I lost 6 kg but also experienced a significant weakening of my body.
Following the surgery, I was given the freedom to eat almost everything to aid in my recovery (except oily food for one month).
I don’t know why but I developed new taste buds and developed a fondness for bananas and boiled potatoes. I used to feel hungry almost every time (probably due to strong medicines). On top of that, doctors asked me to refrain from vigorous physical activity/ exercise.
This shift in my dietary habits, coupled with the limitation on engaging in fitness activities, led me to become careless about my diet and exercise routine. And it eventually led to a shocking weight gain of 12 kg within a few months.
During a regular visit to the hospital, to address the weight gain and improve my overall health, my dietician advised me to adopt a natural weight loss approach with a focus on mild exercises.
Taking into account my restrictions on vigorous activities, she prepared a personalized diet chart and provided me with some valuable tips to help me on this journey:
My journey with weight loss and healthy habits has been a successful and rewarding experience, not only for myself but also for my readers. Over time, I have shared my insights and expertise through numerous blogs, helping others achieve their weight loss goals naturally and sustainably.
I firmly believe in the power of making lifestyle changes rather than relying on quick fixes or artificial products. Through my writing, I advocate for safe and natural weight loss methods that are not only effective but also harmless.
