When it comes to weight loss foods, some popular names like Daliya, cornflakes, whole foods, and a moong dal snack come to mind. If you ask me, one of my personal favourite foods is moong dal snacks. They are very popular also for Indian lunches, dinners, and breakfasts.
The reason is moong dal is enriched in fibre & protein and both nutrients aid in weight loss efforts. That’s why I also love moong dal so much. You can make a lot of dishes using moong dal.
There are several moong dal snacks if you see one, but one of my favourites is Chaunka. Yes, in the UP, India, we call it Chaunka. It can be made with both chickpea flour or soaked grind moong dal/moong dal flour.
