“VALUE YOURSELF & KNOW YOUR SELF-WORTH”- it’s much easier said than followed. Without wasting any time, I come to the point and tell you the ways how I knew my self-worth and eliminated all the negative vibes.
1. Nothing is wrong with imperfection
I have put a lot of pressure on myself to always know how I am looking never do anything wrong, and never make mistakes. I was always comparing myself to others about my height, my selection of wearing a dress and so on.
I have given up on things and learned nothing is wrong with being imperfect. Nobody is perfect. Everyone has some flaws in them. This is the only thing that separates all of us from one another (see).
Everything is beautiful in its way. Those who love you will love you in every condition. Love comes in all shapes and sizes.

2. What others think of me: biggest block to self-worth
What others think of me is the biggest fear in all of us.
I was afraid all the time. What they will think if I make mistakes if I fulfil my wish if I take a step to achieve my dreams if I wear this dress if I stick to my principles and so on.
Why do we depend so much on others opinions? Is our self worth is limited to only what they think of us? And who are they to control of my life’s decisions?
I no more allow anyone to affect my decisions. I have learned to ignore toxic things.
3. Avoiding judgment and criticism
I always found the people around me who were always judgmental. I also developed a tendency to look at myself from their mirrors.
I no more heed to these judgmental tendencies. I shifted my questions. I started chanting positive life mantras.
First of all, who are they to judge me. Are they perfect? Do they have not made any mistakes?
Who gave them the right to judge me? How can I allow imperfect people to destroy my peace? I would be a fool if I allow anyone to judge me except God.

4. Coming out of the fear of looking silly
I was so afraid to look silly. I missed many opportunities not to try different things.
I have given up on these silly thoughts. I ask myself: who is more silly who leaves opportunity or who makes mistakes? I readily get my answer.
I am proud of my willingness to try new things. None is perfect in the beginner stage. An expert is one who has made a lot of mistakes in the past.
Mistakes are the stairs by climbing which we reach the roof of success. These are only the mistakes that allow us to grow to mature ourselves.
5. What if I am never going to get there
Another fear, I used to face was what if I repeatedly make mistakes and never going to get there.
Am I worthy enough? Is my talent enough to get there? Everybody doesn’t get success what if I am one of those.
Now, I know the answers. Everyone is destined to do something. I also am.
If I don’t get success in this, I am going to try another thing. After many trial errors, I will find my destiny and destiny will find me.
6. My principles, my life: A Road to Self-Worth
Not everyone is going to accept my principles. They do not believe in what I strongly believe.
Facing people was never easy for me. But I no more care about it.
What I believe is as much important as their beliefs are. If they can not compromise with there, why should I?
Who is going to decide what is wrong and what is right? Again, no one is perfect. So, I am going to believe in my principles.
7. Talking to my inner self
I used to think that what others believe is always right. I no more do so. I talk to my inner self. I explore the things, the perceptions and come to my conclusions.
Positive quotes & inner discussions help me to get peace of mind.
8. There is a purpose in my life
Every single person born on this earth has a specific purpose for her/ his life. How can I be an unimportant person? I no more ignore the fact. I recognize my self-worth.
9. Focusing on my strengths to recognize my self-worth
No matter how imperfect I am, I have a set of strengths. I focus on them and develop new ones.

10. Saying positive things about myself
Saying positive things is the best way to value my thoughts, purpose, and self-worth. I say these positive things every day.
11. Open to courage to gain self-worth
Things that scare me can make me strong. So, I am open to doing courageous things now.
12. Deciding to enjoy myself
Enjoying myself is my right. This is the best time. I go shopping, eat my favourite dishes and do everything that I want. For me, self-care is not selfish and it must not be for anybody else either.
