There are the following ways, you can optimize your sleep and sleep better:
1. Sleep meditation to sleep tight
Try this, it is a very effective technique to sleep fast and better. You will have sound sleep and a restful night.
In scientific language, meditation ignites the parasympathetic nervous system which results in lowering your heart rate. Hence you have a night of quality sleep.

2. Don’t consume coffee/caffeine at night
Coffee is the enemy of sleep. You already know this fact. So don’t. If you are going to sleep at 10. p.m, you shouldn’t have coffee or any caffeine after 4 p.m.
In short, there should be a gap of at least 6 hours between your coffee and bedtime.
3. Optimize your bedroom to sleep fast in 5 minutes
You can do it by eliminating external light and noise to get better sleep.
Other changes you do to optimize your bedroom are making your bed comfortable, keeping your room cool and quiet and using aromatherapy.
4. Don’t eat late at night
Eating late at night also causes weight gain. Because it disrupts your metabolism. You don’t have time to walk. So, food remains undigested.
Undigested food in your tummy leads to gas and other health problems. And it’s not good for a night of quality sleep.
5. Set aside your phone
It’s a scientifically proven fact. Exposure of your eyes to the screen destroys sleep!
Therefore try to stay away from your phone at least 1 hr before your sleep time.
6. Walk before going to bed
It’s an old proverb: “Take rest after lunch, and walk after dinner”.
Walking will increase your blood flow, you will feel light and good. A light body tends to feel more relaxed which leads to good sleep.

8. Wash your feet with cold water right before you sleep
It’s an old saying washing your feet with cold water right before your bedtime soothes your brain cells. So just apply it.
If it’s winter, then wash your feet with lukewarm water.
What is needed to sleep tight? A relaxing body!
The overall purpose is to calm your body and mind so you can sleep fast and better.
9. Comb your hair
Combing your hair right before going to the bed relaxes your brain scalp and skin.
You feel good and organized which is necessary to sleep tight.
10. Body lotion
Applying Body lotion on your body nourishes your skin cells. When your skin is happy, you are comfortable too.
It may give you a tight sleep!
11. Get a good quality mattress
Your bed, mattress, and pillow can significantly impact sleep quality!

12. Reduce fluid intake in the late evening
Taking fluids in the late evening will not let you sleep. And it makes you go to the bathroom over & over at midnight.
Hence, try to reduce the intake of fluids and also, use the bathroom right before bed.
